CVE-2026-6324: Libsoup: libsoup: http request smuggling via unsigned to signed conversion error

Noroxi assessment

Priority: Monitor (action score 19/100)

  • The sources we track (CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, Metasploit, Nuclei, GitHub) show no public exploit code or exploitation in the wild.
  • Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.87% (FIRST EPSS); higher than 58.7% of all records.
  • Anyone who can reach it over the internet can trigger it. No account or password is required. No user action is required. Special conditions such as timing or configuration are required.
  • Fixed version: azl3 libsoup 3.4.4-15 on Azure Linux 3.0 3.4.4-16; azl3 libsoup 3.4.4-16 on Azure Linux 3.0 3.4.4-16.

Low priority for now. Upgrade to azl3 libsoup 3.4.4-15 on Azure Linux 3.0 3.4.4-16; azl3 libsoup 3.4.4-16 on Azure Linux 3.0 3.4.4-16 or later.

Generated automatically from the record's data: CVSS (NVD and CNA), CISA KEV and SSVC, FIRST EPSS, exploit sources, fixed versions. How we calculate it

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS

A flaw was found in libsoup. A remote attacker could exploit an unsigned to signed conversion error in the `soup_body_input_stream_read_chunked()` function by sending a malicious HTTP request. This vulnerability occurs when libsoup operates behind a non-libsoup proxy server or as a proxy in front of a non-libsoup backend server. Successful exploitation can allow an attacker to bypass security controls, poison web caches, or gain unauthorized access.
