CVE-2026-92745: Cockpit-machines: cockpit-machines: information disclosure of rhsm offline token via process arguments
Noroxi assessment
Priority: Monitor (action score 20/100)
- The sources we track (CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, Metasploit, Nuclei, GitHub) show no public exploit code or exploitation in the wild.
- Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.10% (FIRST EPSS).
- Someone with local access to the system can trigger it. A low-privileged account is enough. A user must open a link or visit a page. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
- Fixed version: cockpit-machines (AlmaLinux:10) 348.1-1.el10_2; cockpit-machines (AlmaLinux:9) 348.1-1.el9_8; cockpit-machines (Debian:14) 357-1.
Low priority for now. Upgrade to cockpit-machines (AlmaLinux:10) 348.1-1.el10_2; cockpit-machines (AlmaLinux:9) 348.1-1.el9_8; cockpit-machines (Debian:14) 357-1 or later.

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS
A flaw was found in cockpit-machines. This vulnerability allows a local attacker with the ability to inspect process metadata to disclose a sensitive Red Hat Subscription Management (RHSM) offline token. The token is exposed when it is passed as a command-line argument to a helper script during the token validation process. Successful exploitation could lead to the compromise of confidentiality, as the exposed token can be used to request access tokens.
