CVE-2026-1467: Libsoup: libsoup: http header injection via specially crafted urls when an http proxy is configured
Noroxi assessment
Priority: Monitor (action score 21/100)
- The sources we track (CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, Metasploit, Nuclei, GitHub) show no public exploit code or exploitation in the wild.
- Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.37% (FIRST EPSS).
- Anyone who can reach it over the internet can trigger it. No account or password is required. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
- Fixed version: libsoup (openSUSE:Leap 15.6) 3.4.4-150600.3.37.1; libsoup2 (openSUSE:Leap 15.6) 2.74.3-150600.4.30.1; libsoup (openSUSE:Leap 16.0) 3.6.6-160000.1.1.
Low priority for now. Upgrade to libsoup (openSUSE:Leap 15.6) 3.4.4-150600.3.37.1; libsoup2 (openSUSE:Leap 15.6) 2.74.3-150600.4.30.1; libsoup (openSUSE:Leap 16.0) 3.6.6-160000.1.1 or later.

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS
A flaw was found in libsoup, an HTTP client library. This vulnerability, known as CRLF (Carriage Return Line Feed) Injection, occurs when an HTTP proxy is configured and the library improperly handles URL-decoded input used to create the Host header. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted URL containing CRLF sequences, allowing them to inject additional HTTP headers or complete HTTP request bodies. This can lead to unintended or unauthorized HTTP requests being forwarded by the proxy, potentially impacting downstream services.
