CVE-2023-52603: UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in dtSplitRoot

Noroxi assessment

Priority: Monitor (action score 31/100)

  • The sources we track (CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, Metasploit, Nuclei, GitHub) show no public exploit code or exploitation in the wild.
  • Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.29% (FIRST EPSS).
  • Someone with local access to the system can trigger it. A low-privileged account is enough. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
  • Fixed version: Linux Linux 27e56f59bab5ddafbcfe69ad7a4a6ea1279c1b16, 6e2902ecc77e9760a9fc447f56d598383e2372d2, 7aa33854477d9c346f5560a1a1fcb3fe7783e2a8.
  • Mentioned 1 time in Turkish national cyber security advisories (siberguvenlik.gov.tr).
