Noroxi assessment

Priority: Monitor (action score 33/100)

  • The sources we track (CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, Metasploit, Nuclei, GitHub) show no public exploit code or exploitation in the wild.
  • Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.17% (FIRST EPSS).
  • Someone with local access to the system can trigger it. No account or password is required. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
  • Fixed version: Linux Linux 11d5af151bcbe78f5a579e0faecd3be9cea0399a, c7bc5e7677bcda7a446d63b989cfaa3fe91d6b76, cbc24bce70dfd91c7b2f53b4fa896e9a4b6d6a6b.

Generated automatically from the record's data: CVSS (NVD and CNA), CISA KEV and SSVC, FIRST EPSS, exploit sources, fixed versions. How we calculate it

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mailbox: riscv-sbi-mpxy: validate RPMI notification lengths The SBI return value controls how many bytes are copied from shared memory into the RPMI notification buffer. It is not validated against the negotiated shared-memory size before that copy. The event walker also uses a reversed loop condition and can inspect a short event record. Validate the complete notification length before copying it, iterate only while a full event header remains, and stop when a declared event payload extends beyond the copied notification data.

Variant candidates

Same product, same weakness class, within 18 months. If the patch missed the root cause, the sibling bug is here.

No nightly-computed relations.

Chain candidates

An authentication bypass and a privilege-requiring bug in the same product, published close together: combined they may become an unauthenticated path.
