CVE-2024-53134: pmdomain: imx93-blk-ctrl: correct remove path

Noroxi assessment

Priority: Monitor (action score 22/100)

  • The sources we track (CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, Metasploit, Nuclei, GitHub) show no public exploit code or exploitation in the wild.
  • Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.20% (FIRST EPSS).
  • Someone with local access to the system can trigger it. A low-privileged account is enough. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
  • Fixed version: Linux Linux 138b0c42153681cd2121a286c8b35083de9d0427, 201fb9e164a1e4c5937de2cf58bcb0327c08664f, 8fc228ab5d38a026eae7183a5f74a4fac43d9b6a; azl3 kernel 6.6.57.1-7 on Azure Linux 3.0 6.6.64.2-1; azl3 kernel 6.6.64.2-1 on Azure Linux 3.0 6.6.64.2-1.

Low priority for now. Upgrade to Linux Linux 138b0c42153681cd2121a286c8b35083de9d0427, 201fb9e164a1e4c5937de2cf58bcb0327c08664f, 8fc228ab5d38a026eae7183a5f74a4fac43d9b6a; azl3 kernel 6.6.57.1-7 on Azure Linux 3.0 6.6.64.2-1; azl3 kernel 6.6.64.2-1 on Azure Linux 3.0 6.6.64.2-1 or later.

Generated automatically from the record's data: CVSS (NVD and CNA), CISA KEV and SSVC, FIRST EPSS, exploit sources, fixed versions. How we calculate it

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pmdomain: imx93-blk-ctrl: correct remove path The check condition should be 'i < bc->onecell_data.num_domains', not 'bc->onecell_data.num_domains' which will make the look never finish and cause kernel panic. Also disable runtime to address "imx93-blk-ctrl 4ac10000.system-controller: Unbalanced pm_runtime_enable!"
