CVE-2024-43108: goTenna Pro ATAK Plugin Missing Support for Integrity Check
Noroxi assessment
Priority: Monitor (action score 24/100)
- The sources we track (CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, Metasploit, Nuclei, GitHub) show no public exploit code or exploitation in the wild.
- Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.09% (FIRST EPSS).
- Someone on the same network segment can trigger it. No account or password is required. No user action is required. Special conditions such as timing or configuration are required.
- According to the record, no fixed version is available yet.
Low priority for now. Update when a fix is released; follow the vendor's advisory.

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS
The goTenna Pro ATAK Plugin uses AES CTR type encryption for short, encrypted messages without any additional integrity checking mechanisms. This leaves messages malleable to an attacker that can access the message. It is advised to continue to use encryption in the plugin and update to the current release for enhanced encryption protocols.
