Noroxi assessment
Priority: Monitor (action score 35/100)
- A ready-made attack module is public (Nuclei); exploiting it takes no special expertise.
- Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 1.8% (FIRST EPSS); higher than 78% of all records.
- Anyone who can reach it over the internet can trigger it. No account or password is required. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
- According to the record, no fixed version is available yet.
Low priority for now. Update when a fix is released; follow the vendor's advisory.
Generated automatically from the record's data: CVSS (NVD and CNA), CISA KEV and SSVC, FIRST EPSS, exploit sources, fixed versions. How we calculate it
This vulnerability exists in Bagisto due to improper validation of user-supplied input in the ImageCacheController component. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted path traversal sequences through the filename parameter to access arbitrary files outside the intended directory on the targeted system. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to read arbitrary sensitive files on the targeted system.
