Noroxi assessment
Priority: Monitor (action score 34/100)
- The sources we track (CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, Metasploit, Nuclei, GitHub) show no public exploit code or exploitation in the wild.
- Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 1% (FIRST EPSS); higher than 64.3% of all records.
- Someone with local access to the system can trigger it. A low-privileged account is enough. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
- Fixed version: renovatebot renovate 10.4.0, 15.4.0, 44.14.7.
Low priority for now. Upgrade to renovatebot renovate 10.4.0, 15.4.0, 44.14.7 or later.

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS
Renovate before 44.14.7 contains a command injection vulnerability in the Maven Wrapper manager that allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands by specifying a malicious distributionType parameter in maven-wrapper.properties. Attackers can inject shell commands through unescaped distributionType values to achieve remote code execution when Renovate processes Maven Wrapper updates in binarySource=docker mode.
