CVE-2026-65591: n8n before 1.123.64 Sanitizer Bypass Remote Code Execution
Noroxi assessment
Priority: Monitor (action score 35/100)
- Public proof-of-concept code exists (GitHub); there is no record of exploitation in the wild.
- Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.69% (FIRST EPSS); higher than 52.6% of all records.
- Anyone who can reach it over the internet can trigger it. A low-privileged account is enough. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
- Fixed version: n8n-io n8n 1.123.64, 2.29.8, 2.30.1.
- Mentioned 1 time in Turkish national cyber security advisories (siberguvenlik.gov.tr).
Low priority for now. Upgrade to n8n-io n8n 1.123.64, 2.29.8, 2.30.1 or later.

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS
n8n contains a sanitizer bypass vulnerability in the legacy expression evaluator's computed-member handler. An authenticated user with workflow create or modify permissions can craft a malicious expression to bypass the sanitizer and achieve host-level code execution as the n8n process. The legacy expression engine is the default in affected versions. Fixed in n8n 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1.
