User Authentication Bypass in VPN Remote Access and Mobile Access
A logic flow weakness in Remote Access and Mobile Access certificate validation in deprecated IKEv1 key exchange allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to bypass user authentication and establish a remote access VPN connection without a valid user password.

Vulnrichment: CISA's decision-tree inputs.
Actively exploited in the wild
CISA added this to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on Jun 8, 2026. That signals real attacks, not theory.
Remediation deadline for government agencies: Jun 11, 2026.
Known to be used in ransomware campaigns.

Root cause
Authentication is added route by route instead of being enforced in one place. When a route added later bypasses the shared middleware, the session check never runs for it.
