Noroxi assessment
Priority: Monitor (action score 32/100)
- The sources we track (CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, Metasploit, Nuclei, GitHub) show no public exploit code or exploitation in the wild.
- Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.47% (FIRST EPSS).
- Anyone who can reach it over the internet can trigger it. A low-privileged account is enough. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
- Fixed version: bigbluebutton bigbluebutton 3.0.21.
Low priority for now. Upgrade to bigbluebutton bigbluebutton 3.0.21 or later.

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS
BigBlueButton is an open-source virtual classroom. Prior to 3.0.21, bbb-web checksum validation could be bypassed when a presentationUploadExternalUrl parameter was supplied to API request handling in CreateMeeting.java and ValidationService.java, allowing a user to send valid requests to some endpoints without a checksum. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.21.
