Keycloak: keycloak: information disclosure due to redirect_uri validation bypass

Noroxi assessment

Priority: Monitor (action score 29/100)

  • The sources we track (CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, Metasploit, Nuclei, GitHub) show no public exploit code or exploitation in the wild.
  • Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.58% (FIRST EPSS).
  • Anyone who can reach it over the internet can trigger it. A low-privileged account is enough. A user must open a link or visit a page. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
  • Fixed version: org.keycloak:keycloak-services (Maven) 26.5.7.

Low priority for now. Upgrade to org.keycloak:keycloak-services (Maven) 26.5.7 or later.

Generated automatically from the record's data: CVSS (NVD and CNA), CISA KEV and SSVC, FIRST EPSS, exploit sources, fixed versions. How we calculate it

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS

A flaw was found in Keycloak. This issue allows an attacker, who controls another path on the same web server, to bypass the allowed path in redirect Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) that use a wildcard. A successful attack may lead to the theft of an access token, resulting in information disclosure.
