CVE-2026-33555: An issue was discovered in HAProxy before 3.3.6.

Noroxi assessment

Priority: Monitor (action score 23/100)

  • Public proof-of-concept code exists (GitHub); there is no record of exploitation in the wild.
  • Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.30% (FIRST EPSS).
  • Anyone who can reach it over the internet can trigger it. No account or password is required. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
  • Fixed version: azl3 haproxy 2.9.11-4 on Azure Linux 3.0 2.9.11-5; azl3 haproxy 2.9.11-5 on Azure Linux 3.0 2.9.11-5.

Low priority for now. Upgrade to azl3 haproxy 2.9.11-4 on Azure Linux 3.0 2.9.11-5; azl3 haproxy 2.9.11-5 on Azure Linux 3.0 2.9.11-5 or later.

Generated automatically from the record's data: CVSS (NVD and CNA), CISA KEV and SSVC, FIRST EPSS, exploit sources, fixed versions. How we calculate it

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS

An issue was discovered in HAProxy before 3.3.6. The HTTP/3 parser does not check that the received body length matches a previously announced content-length when the stream is closed via a frame with an empty payload. This can cause desynchronization issues with the backend server and could be used for request smuggling. The earliest affected version is 2.6.
