Blinko: Unauthorized Arbitrary File Read - /api/file/temp
Noroxi assessment
Priority: Monitor (action score 32/100)
- A ready-made attack module is public (Nuclei); exploiting it takes no special expertise.
- Public proof-of-concept code exists (Exploit-DB / GitHub); there is no record of exploitation in the wild.
- Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 1.5% (FIRST EPSS); higher than 74.3% of all records.
- Anyone who can reach it over the internet can trigger it. No account or password is required. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
- Fixed version: blinkospace blinko 1.8.4.
Low priority for now. Upgrade to blinkospace blinko 1.8.4 or later.

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS
Blinko is an AI-powered card note-taking project. Prior to version 1.8.4, the file server endpoint does not perform permission checks on the temp/ path and does not filter path traversal sequences, allowing unauthorized attackers to read arbitrary files on the server. When scheduled backup tasks are enabled, attackers can read backup files to obtain all user notes and user TOKENS. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.4.
