Noroxi assessment

Priority: Now (action score 91/100)

  • CISA has confirmed exploitation in the wild (Oct 27, 2026). Remediation deadline for US federal agencies: Nov 10, 2026.
  • A ready-made attack module is public (Nuclei); exploiting it takes no special expertise.
  • Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 82.6% (FIRST EPSS); higher than 99.6% of all records.
  • Anyone who can reach it over the internet can trigger it. No account or password is required. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
  • Fixed version: Google Brotli 1.0.10, 1.1.1, 1.2.1; .NET 10.0 installed on Linux 10.0.403; .NET 10.0 installed on Mac OS 10.0.403.
  • Mentioned 1 time in Turkish national cyber security advisories (siberguvenlik.gov.tr).

Patch today or shut off access. Upgrade to Google Brotli 1.0.10, 1.1.1, 1.2.1; .NET 10.0 installed on Linux 10.0.403; .NET 10.0 installed on Mac OS 10.0.403 or later.

Generated automatically from the record's data: CVSS (NVD and CNA), CISA KEV and SSVC, FIRST EPSS, exploit sources, fixed versions. How we calculate it

Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · CISA KEV · FIRST EPSS

A buffer overflow vulnerability in the Brotli decoder (c/dec/decode.c) in Google Brotli versions 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 on all platforms allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to corrupt adjacent decoder state memory, disclose sensitive memory contents, cause a denial of service, or potentially execute arbitrary code using a crafted Brotli-compressed stream. Users need to update any Brotli libraries or binaries between 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 to the latest available version: 1.0.10 or 1.1.1 or 1.2.1.
