Noroxi assessment
Priority: Monitor (action score 34/100)
- The sources we track (CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, Metasploit, Nuclei, GitHub) show no public exploit code or exploitation in the wild.
- Probability of exploitation in the next 30 days: 0.32% (FIRST EPSS).
- Anyone who can reach it over the internet can trigger it. No account or password is required. No user action is required. No special conditions are required; it is repeatable.
- According to CISA the attack is automatable: targets can be found by mass scanning.
- Fixed version: Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS 10.1.14-h11, 10.2.10-h17, 11.0.6; Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access 10.2.10-h17, 10.2.4-h36.
Low priority for now. Upgrade to Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS 10.1.14-h11, 10.2.10-h17, 11.0.6; Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access 10.2.10-h17, 10.2.4-h36 or later.
Generated automatically from the record's data: CVSS (NVD and CNA), CISA KEV and SSVC, FIRST EPSS, exploit sources, fixed versions. How we calculate it
Primary sources: NVD · CVE.org · FIRST EPSS
A denial-of-service (DoS) vulnerability in the Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP) authentication feature of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® software enables an unauthenticated attacker to initiate system reboots using a maliciously crafted packet. Repeated attempts to initiate a reboot causes the firewall to enter maintenance mode. Cloud NGFW is not affected by this vulnerability. Prisma® Access software is proactively patched and protected from this issue.
